Our Buried History Book

"Our Buried History, Coast Road Church Wainuiomata", written by Colleen Hira, was launched at the 150th Jubilee Celebrations of the Church on Saturday 6 February 2016.

It contains 216 pages of information and photos of those interred in the Churchyard, as well as the early settlement of these people in the Wainuiomata Valley.

Many of the weddings held in the Church are recorded in the book, as well as all baptisms from 1872 to 1910.
